The beginnings of the company "Shimov" date back to 1990, when it was founded and first appeared on the market as a company with a single service activity, the sale of vehicles from the "Mercedes Benz" programme, car tyres "Sava" and "Michelin" and motor oil "LIQUI MOLY".

The company was founded with two employees and one manager. It soon grew into a company with a tendency for rapid development and expansion into more service activities. In 1993, the first petrol station was built in Bogdanci. In the following year, 1994, the company started its second service activity, the transport of hazardous materials, oil and oil derivatives with ten transport vehicles, tankers. The company survived until 2002 with the existing activities. The economic crisis in Europe will slow down the development until 2002. After that year, the company will undergo a kind of transformation and grow into a company with high but achievable goals. In the same year, 2002, the second petrol station was opened, located at the border crossing "Bogorodica", which is a complex of "Porta EU" restaurant, shipping company and cafeteria. In 2004, a third petrol station was opened at the entrance to Mrzenci on the road to Negorski Banji.

In 2006, the fourth petrol station was opened at the entrance to Gevgelija. In addition to these activities, the company is continuously expanding its fleet with five new transport vehicles. This situation is not final, because in 2013 he managed to acquire his own space at the border crossing "Dojran", in Star Dojran, which provides forwarding services.
