If it is necessary to use fuel canisters, you should be aware that for your safety we only fill in metal or plastic canisters, which meet the specifications for the transport of flammable materials and limit the danger of static electricity. We never fill standard plastic canisters, water bottles and cans that cannot be sealed.
In case you do not own a fuel canister:
- We recommend that you obtain a suitable canister from the petrol station shop
- If you want to avoid getting a proper fuel canister, borrow one from the gas station
Safe transport of a fuel canister:
- The fuel canister is transported in an upright position, securely stowed inside the vehicle, to avoid the possibility of overturning. During the transport of the canister, make sure there is fresh air (open the window of the vehicle) and drive slowly
- It is not recommended to transport the fuel canister in the trunk of the vehicle, as there is limited air flow and there is a risk of explosion.
- If you transport the canister by walking, be careful not to shake the container
